Announcement

It is with a heavy heart and deep sadness that we announce the permanent closing of Saved Tattoo Brooklyn. Like so many historic businesses in NYC and Brooklyn, our shop has not been spared the difficulties of surviving during a global pandemic.

In comparison to all of the lives lost, the closing of our shop is small, but it pains us deeply nonetheless. These have been unprecedented, difficult times for everyone, and our love extends to all those suffering under and fighting against systemic racial injustice to the corona pandemic.

Stephanie and I take solace in knowing that the artists we’ve worked with at Saved will continue their journeys in profound ways. We look forward to watching their inevitable successes and seeing what they build for themselves in this next chapter.

Thank you: Michelle Tarantelli, Anderson Luna, Tamara Santibañez, Sophie C’est La Vie, Ian Healy, Francisca Silva, Doreen Garner, and Jess T Fang. You are all immensEly appreciated.

No shop would survive without the help of its core crew, and we have always had the best. Through the years, they were always there for all of us, ready to lend an extra 4 arms when we needed them. You all have our deep gratitude.

Most importantly, thank you to all the clients who gave us the honor of marking moments of significance in your lives on your bodies. Without all of you, we are nothing.

We hope you all have enjoyed the ride - I know we have.

Sincerely, Scott Campbell, Stephanie Tamez, & Virginia Elwood.
